Fabrizio Romano has claimed on that Everton are interested in signing Ronald Araujo from Barcelona in the summer transfer window. The well-known and well-respected journalist, who works for The Guardian and SkySport, has claimed that the Toffees are planning to sign a centre-back and appreciate the 22-year-old centre-back.
However, according to Romano, Barcelona not want to sell the Uruguay international centre-back. The 22-year-old joined the Spanish giants in 2018 and has broken into Ronald Koeman’s first team. According to , the Uruguay international centre-back has made 13 starts and seven substitute appearances in La Liga for Barca this season, scoring two goals and providing one assist in the process.

Barcelona are third in the La Liga table at the moment with 74 points from 34 matches, two points behind leaders Atletico Madrid, while Everton find themselves eighth in the standings with 52 points from 33 games.
