Barcelona are closing in on the signing of Adrien Rabiot from Paris Saint-Germain, according to French television programme Telefoot.
Rabiot has been a PSG player his whole career so far, barring a half-season loan spell with Toulouse. Since his debut in 2012, he played 219 games in all competitions, scored 24 goals, won four Ligue 1 titles, four Coupe de France trophies and five French League Cups.
However, it s almost certain the next step in the 23-year-old s football journey lies away from the Parc des Princes. His contract expires next summer, and after a long tussle with the club, the negotiations over a new deal have been abandoned.
There are a number of top European clubs interested in his services, and he has had concrete offers from the likes of Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Juventus, but it seems the France international has chosen to join Barcelona in a deal that would see the Catalan giants sign him on a free transfer, but they will still have to pay a €10million sign-on fee.
